Prince Mahesh's 'Brahmotsavam's release date hasn't been locked by the makers yet. We have earlier heard many dates for the movie's release but none of them has been materialized. It was recently speculated that the movie would be releasing on May 6. The gossipmongers have gone overboard cooking up the stories that the release date has further been put off to May 27 to make a room for the release of Mahesh's good friend Trivikram's new film 'A..Aa'. which is scheduled for release on May 6.
Now that Kollywood's top hero Suriya's upcoming film '24's release date has been locked to May 6, Trivikram reportedly decided to release 'A..Aa' two to three weeks later. With everyone's dismay, 'A..Aa' will be locking horns with 'Brahmotsavam' with a very less gap of release dates in between.
Some of the movie buffs are now pointing it out that Mahesh sacrificed May 6 for 'A..Aa' and then why shouldn't 'A..Aa's makers further defer their movie to get it kept out of competition. Hearing all these interesting stories, inside sources made it clear that 'Brahmotsavam' was actually postponed due to the delay in shoot and post production work of the movie. It was earlier rumoured that a couple of scenes were re-shot for betterment of the end product of the movie. That's why the makers have postponed the audio launch date from April 24 to May 1 and release date from May 6 to May 27.
