As per the schedule tweeted by Kensington Palace, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be in India on April 10 and listed out on their itinerary are some interesting to-do things including a brush with our very own well-heeled B-town celebs in Mumbai.
Prince William and his wife Kate will get a taste of Bollywood royalty on their first ever official visit to India. As per the schedule tweeted by Kensington Palace, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be in India on April 10 and listed out on their itinerary are some interesting to-do things including a brush with our very own well-heeled B-town celebs in Mumbai.
The Duke and Duchess would be staying at the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai and that is where they will be introduced to the glamour of Bollywood in a glittering gala dinner ceremony. In attendance would be the who’s who of Bollywood including Shah Rukh Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and many others. Songstress Kanika Kapoor has also been roped in to lend the evening melodious tune.
One can expect the Royals to be appraised of Indian cinema and its culture through Bollywood and its global reach today and who better to lead the brigade than SRK whose fame extends all over Britain.
The Royals will also pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the dastardly terror attack on 26/11. From Mumbai, the Royals will fly off to Delhi where they will round off the Indian tour by paying a visit to the Taj Mahal that Prince William’s late mother Princess Diana had visited on her maiden trip to India.
