Back to back failures in ‘Bruce Lee’ and ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ have kept Mega Fans in a tight spot. Where were those times when every film from Mega camp is almost declared as a record breaker? Last couple of years, there is a gradual downfall in Mega magic. With Chiranjeevi slipping away from political importance to Ramcharan, Pawan Kalyan unable to keep up with audience expectations, alone Allu Arjun followed by newcomers Sai Dharam Tej and Varun Tej are trying to be on move.

Difference between Charan, Pawan and other heroes is their inability to keep updated with the market trend. This is the time when experimentation with novel concepts or touching the new storylines is getting lots of encouragement from audience. Rather than depending on the same regular, commercial formulae scripts from hopeless directors, it’s time for them to endeavor on new thoughts without missing the commercial ingredients.

Nagarjuna’s ‘Oopiri, Manam’ or Jr NTR’s ‘Nannaku Prematho’ have set big examples for other heroes to inspire. Hopefully, ‘Dhruva’ from Charan and untitled SJ Suriya film from Pawan will
re-instill the faith in Mega brand.
