Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is proud that her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan has won the National Award for best actor, and says every performance of the megastar deserves to be celebrated.
Amitabh Bachchan was honoured with best actor award for Shoojit Sircar-directed “Piku” on Monday.
“It is not the first time (he is winning the national award). He deserved it. We are very very proud that Paa (Amitabh Bachchan) won the national award yet again for a performance he deserved,” Aishwarya Rai told reporters at an event. Complete list of Winners of 63rd National Film Awards
“I feel every performance of him deserves to be celebrated by the audience and members of the media,” she said.
