Premam Unit Dropped The Idea!

‘Premam’ is the official Telugu remake of Malayalam hit film with the same title. The film has Naga Chaitanya playing the central male lead while Shruti Hasan, Anupama Parameshwaran, Madonna Sebastian are doing the female leads. Currently, Chaitu is busy shooting for ‘Premam’ although his ‘Sahasame Swaasagaa Saagipo’ is waiting for a release in the summer season.

As per the early buzz, Victory Venkatesh was approached for a cameo role in the film and the actor accepted too. Due to various reasons including the busy schedules, makers have later dropped the idea. Given the blood relation between Naga Chaitanya and Venkatesh in real life, the cameo would have been perfect for him. Apparently, the unit is half way with the shooting schedule and they cannot afford to spend couple of days for Venky to join them.

Chandoo Mondeti of ‘Karthikeya’ fame is directing ‘Premam.’ Original Malayalam version released in May last year turned out an industry hit. Chaitu pinned plenty of hopes on Telugu version to repeat the magic at Box Office.
