Hyderabadis recently woke up with shock when little Abhay Modani was killed in a chilling manner by the kidnappers who kidnapped him to demand huge money from his rich parents. However kidnap drama went horribly wrong when the kidnappers passed a plaster on Abhay's nose and mouth in haste resulting in his death due to suffocation and lack of breathing.
Four kidnappers despite Abhay's death within one hour of kidnap, amabdoned his body near Alpha Hotel and then went on to demand Rs 10crs from Abhay's father at night. Police who nabbed the kidnappers later foundout that the kidnappers who aspired to become actors took the extreme step inspired by Tollywood film 'Oka Romantic Crime Katha'.
Manoj Nandam, Anil Kalyan, Priyanka Pallavi, Divya, Satyanand.AL starrer Oka Criminal Kadha was directed by P.Sunil Kumar Reddy. The film is a bold take on trocities on women and director at that time told that most of the atrocities are committed by relatives, family members and near and dear ones and people turn blind eye to them. He said he scripted the story after interacting with college students especially girls.
