Election dates are announced in five states and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has changed dates of Std.XII exams which will take place in West Bengal and Asam. Earlier there were news that the exams will be conducted on month of April.
As per a notice issued by CBSE, 12th standard sociology exam will take place on April 23rd instead of April 4th. Similarly, Sanskrit and Bengali exams which were originally scheduled on April 11th will take place on April 26th.
Election commission announced the election dates on five state assemblies of Assam, kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Pudcherry on March 4th 2016. The election will take place on May 16th and counting of votes will happen on May 19th.
Assam will have polls in two phases on April 4th and 11th while election in West Bengal on 6 phases on April 4th and 11th (Phase one) and April 17, 21, 25, 30 and May 5. Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry assemblies will have single phase elections on May 16th.
