From the last few days, there are rumours in Kollywood that Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan will be seen as little cameos in Superstar Rajinikanth and Sensational director Shankar's next ‘2.0’. However the director confirmed that there is no truth in these rumours and there is no scope for such cameos in the film.
The movie unit is shooting a football sequence at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Delhi and the theme is Chennai versus Mumbai at IFL (Indian Football League). ‘2.0’ is being planned for Diwali 2017 release but it is too early to lock the release since Shankar is known for his slow pace.
‘2.0’ will be the costliest film ever made in Indian Cinema. The movie will be costing a whopping Rs.350 Crore according to an estimate. Amy Jackson plays the female lead in the film.
